  one day a lady came to my door she did not say she was a jehovah witness and she was all on her own.. she seemed very nice and started talking about having accurate knowledge and such like.

  i didn't have my bible at the moment.

  i said to her yes but the verse below that says that this knowledge is found in jesus i asked her what immanuel meant and she looked at me very strangly as if i had two heads.

  does anyone know roughly how much an average j witness will pay out monthly for awake and the watchtower.

  as they ask people for donations at the door.

  do they get their money back they have spend on the mags.

  can you just imagine walking up to a jw as he (or she) is selling their wt on the street corner and just 'hanging out for a while" :) .

  How can I get the New World (english) Translation?

  i'd like to know if it were possible to find the new world (english) translation on the web?

  i'm french and i only possess the french translation, both editions 1987 & 1995 (actually the french translation is not very good...).

  i heard that some copies formatted for e-sword were available somewhere on the web.
